Canyons Village has been evolving over the last couple years with major changes focused on hospitality and guest services. As part of a larger upper village master plan, Pendry Park City will be at the heart of the expanding base Village. With ski runs and lift access right out the door, this location is bound to become the social hub of Canyons Village. Park City Resort
Park City resort is scheduled to open on Wednesday, November 21st, the day before Thanksgiving. At the Canyon side of the mountain, many complaints have revolved around the slow speed of the fixed chair for High Meadow – a popular beginner's area for that side of the resort. The other common complaint has been that the hillside for that run was comprised of a steeper slope for the beginning, and then just a bit too flat further down. Not the best ski run for learning. They have replaced this lift, and now it only
Park City is a community that loves to give. More than 100 non-profits benefited from Live PC Give PC, the mountain town’s annual day of 24 hours of giving that is facilitated by the Park City Community Foundation. Held on November 9, Live PC Give PC raised more than $2.4 million from 4,700 unique contributors in a single day. This was an absolute remarkable display of support for these non-profits who make Park City an incredible place to live. We are truly proud to call Summit County home. The day culminated in a high-energy party at High West Distillery where friends and neighbors gathered to celebrate local philanthropy. It was wonderful to see so many Park City Realtors joining the effort.
The 2018 mid-term elections are over and although the national balance of power between the Republicans and Democrats was on the forefront of national news, in Park City the future of a large scale development was the talk of the town.
For nearly three decades there has been concern and uncertainty of a massive, large-scale development that would loom over Old Town and historic Main Street. With out-of-state developers recently coming into Park City and Deer Valley, equipped with deep pockets and strong financial backing, the possibility or even certainty of the land getting developed had become more of a reality.
Thanksgiving in Park City signals the beginning of the ski season. Unlike many parts of the country, we can actually hit the slopes before we celebrate being thankful for the mountain paradise we get to call home. Park City Mountain will open for the season the day before, on November 21. What a fun way to earn a big meal!
We all know preparing a Thanksgiving feast is a lot of work, to put it mildly. There is the planning, the shopping, the prepping, the cooking, and then the eating. But it doesn’t stop there as the clean up awaits. Why not let someone else do all that this year? And you can skip to the pleasurable part...eating! With several Park City restaurants hosting a stress-free feast this year, you are sure to find a festive eatery that
