New Year's Eve in Park City

At the end of every year, we reflect on our past while looking to the future. It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the end of not only another year, but another decade! When we reflect back on the past ten years in Park City, it is remarkable how much our mountain town has changed. There are new ski resort owners (Vail Resorts and Alterra), the Canyons and Park City Mountain Resort interconnected to become the country’s largest ski area, and we have seen an astonishing array of new luxury real estate developments – including our new projects Goldener Hirsch Residences and Empire Pass Residences. When it comes to winter, nowhere knows (or snows) better than Park City. We have plenty of reasons to celebrate the season, including the phenomenal early snow, the New Year right around the corner and, of course, the annual Snowfest hosted by Park City Mountain. From December 20 to January 5, make the most of the holiday magic and experience the lineup of daily activities. There’s something for everyone with the Snowfest event line up!

Club 1981

It’s hard to believe that Deer Valley Resort made its debut almost 40 years ago in 1981 with only five chairlifts and 30 trails. With the local mining industry in decline and the Snow Park development on the rise, the Royal Street Land Company acquired the property for the new resort and began plans to create a park to accommodate 12,000 skiers.
