Park City Mountain's Snowfest Events

With the ski season off to a stellar start in Utah, Park City Mountain already has 100 trails open with packed powder conditions, thanks to 46-inches of snowfall already received. Now, that’s reason to celebrate! The Vail-owned resort has lined up a festive, 16-day Snowfest, beginning on December 22. A plethora of events offer wintertime fun for local and visiting families. Activities include live music during apres ski, the annual Torchlight Parade, holiday-themed crafts, and meet and greets with the resort’s avalanche dogs. And new this year is the First Friday Fireworks display each month of the ski season.

Saturday, December 22

Avalanche Dog Meet & Greet
1 p.m. at Park City Summit
Make some new furry friends with the adorable team of hard-working dogs, and learn about their incredible snow skills.

56^th Annual Torchlight Parade
5:30 p.m.
Don’t miss the Annual Torchlight Parade, a popular holiday tradition in Park City. With lighted torches in hand, Park City’s ski and snowboard instructors carve down mountain turn by turn to lead Santa Claus in a festive procession to town. Cookies and hot chocolate will be offered at the bottom of PayDay Express in the Park City Mountain Village just before his arrival.
