While all good things come to an end, luckily here in Park City, we say goodbye to summer with a bang. Every year, the Park City community celebrates its mining heritage that began over 100 years ago. Miners’ Day is a festive opportunity to come together with friends and family and enjoy some food, fun, and sunshine. Here’s what you can look forward to on September 2nd!
Start your Miners’ Day with a free hearty breakfast in City Park, graciously provided by Saint Mary’s Catholic Church. Fill up on pancakes, eggs, hash browns and more! Breakfast will be served from 7:30 am to 9:30 am.

Could Park City actually have two new ski resort villages in the works? Last week, there was much discussion about significant plans for both the Mayflower/Jordanelle side of Deer Valley and the Snow Park base area.
As we have recently reported, the Jordanelle area is booming. And it’s more than just real estate development. Last week, New York City-based developer Extell Development Company announced it will build the first major, full-service ski resort in America since 1980. The family-friendly event will kick off Friday with the official opening ceremonies, followed by a weekend full of

New communities have been popping up in the past decade that appeal to both second homeowners and primary residents. The robust 40-year development plan for the Mayflower side of Deer Valley will establish a top tier ski resort base area to which all of these communities will enjoy easy access.
SkyRidge, located on the northwest shore of the Jordanelle Reservoir, is one of these
