New Deer Valley Resort Pinyon Chairlift

There is another new chairlift open at Deer Valley® Resort this season. The new Pinyon Express chairlift is a brand-new six-pack chairlift that also features heated seats and a bubble that comes down to protect riders from the wind. This is a relatively short lift located high up on the mountain and will offer some very easy green and blue trails for beginners and lower-intermediate skiers. The base of this new chairlift is located just at the bottom of the Trump ski trail, where it meets the popular Ontario ski run.

This new section of the resort is easy to get to from either Empire Pass or from Deer Valley's East Village community. From the East Village, there is a very long East Village Gondola that takes you from the new resort base all the way up to the top of Park Peak at an elevation of 9,350 feet. The gondola drops you right into the easy Clipper ski run. From Empire Pass, simply take any of the lifts, such as Silver Strike, Northside, or Ruby Express, to the top of Flagstaff Mountain, and glide down the Ontario ski run to the base of Pinyon Express. Additionally, if you are staying in the Silver Lake Village, you can take the Sterling Express chairlift up to the top of Bald Mountain, and the very easy green Homeward Bound ski run will take you right down to Pinyon Express.

new day lodge at deer valley resort

The other significant development for this new Park Peak area is the new day lodge currently under construction. This lodge will be an amazing place for lunch, as it is situated high up in the back of the resort with stunning views in all directions. When complete, this will be spectacular. We cannot wait!
