As LOCAL Park City Realtors, we spend much of our time working with clients in the Deer Valley resort area. When considering ski property, it is important to understand the resort's various locations and how they relate to its ski runs. Views are key, as are the amenities the HOA may provide. 

Silver Lake Village In Upper Deer Valley

Deer Valley's Silver Lake Village is the mid-mountain base lodge for the ski resort. It features a small pedestrian village with retail shops and dining options, and is also home to Deer Valley's famous "Ski Beach" outside McHenry's Grill. Here, guests can relax, soak up the sun, and watch the remaining skiers come down the mountain. This is the perfect spot to gather with family and friends.

Choosing Homes for Sale in Upper Deer Valley

Knoll Estates and Knollheim are small enclaves of single-family homes within walking distance of Silver Lake. Bald Eagle Club is the premier neighborhood of ski-in, ski-out homes in a private gated community. The Cottages are just down the road from Silver Lake Village, just behind Knoll Estates. Alta Vista homes are next to the ski run and enjoy great views. American Flag homes are known for their views, and a handful do have direct ski access. The Belles is an area of ski-in, ski-out homes with subdivisions named Bellearbor, Bellemont, Belleterre, and Bellevue. Evergreen is another community of ski-in, ski-out luxury homes for sale.

Choosing Condos for Sale in Upper Deer Valley

Silver Lake Village hosts numerous condos and condo-hotels with direct ski access, such as Deer Valley Club, Mont Cervin, Royal Plaza, Sterling Lodge, and The Inn at Silver Lake, all situated right in the heart of the village. Several condo developments within walking distance include Chateaux at Silver Lake and Black Bear Lodge. Stein Eriksen Lodge has long been a favorite among Deer Valley guests and is one of the most renowned hotels in the West. For an affordable condo option in Upper Deer Valley, consider Ridgepoint, a ski-out community next to Aspen Hollow. The Stag Lodge is a townhome community offering spectacular views and direct ski access.

There are many townhome developments with direct ski access or with a short walk to the ski run or back home at the end of the day. Aspen Hollow has ski-out access. The Cache at Silver Lake is only steps from the ski run, and Double Eagle has direct ski access. The Woods at Deer Valley is a small community of ski-in, ski-out townhomes. Trailside Deer Valley, as its name says, is a townhome complex on the side of the ski trail for easy ski access. You can walk to Silver Lake Village from the Ridge townhomes and Silver Bird. Sterlingwood townhomes also enjoy ski access.

In Upper Deer Valley, a few condo developments lack direct ski access, but what they lack in skiing, they make up for in amazing views. These condos and townhomes have great views: Enclave, Ontario Lodge, Twin Pines at Silver Lake, and Lookout at Deer Valley. Little Belle townhomes have great views and are a short walk to the ski runs.
