On Saturday October 14th, Park City will attempt to reclaim the crown for longest shot-ski. The Sunrise Rotary is currently enlisting participants to take a "shot" of Wasatch beer to help raise funds for local nonprofits. Park City's shot-ski (actually a total of 440 skis bolted together) will be raised at 2 p.m. This attempt will hopefully break the record of the 1,234 participants set by Breckenridge last January.
And once again Wasatch Brewery is stepping up and sponsoring this fun event. Afterwards, in order to keep the party going, Wasatch Brewery will host a beer garden in the Brew Pub lot from noon until 6 p.m., and will include games, live music, a food truck and a selection of Wasatch Brewery's award-winning craft beers.

While driving through Park City it's impossible not to notice the sights of the Utah Olympic Park with the infamous green ski jumps, which were built and used for the 2002 Winter Olympics.
The Utah Olympic Park is home to six Nordic ski jumps, where Olympians and skiers have practiced and competed ever since. Its crazy enough in its own right to watch athletes go down the jump time and time again, however on Saturday September 30th hundreds of competitors will be climbing up the jump for the Red Bull 400 event.
