Autumn Aloft in Park City Utah

The evenings are beginning to cool, and the leaves are turning bright hues of yellow and orange. Fall is defiantly in the air, and soon the morning sky will be dotted with hot air balloons. The Autumn Aloft will be taking place on September 16th & 17th, on the North 40 Playing Fields.

The Autumn Aloft is a Park City Fall classic. At dawn on Saturday and Sunday morning people can gather to watch as hot air ballon are filled, and begin to take shape and then launch promptly at 8am. The sky will fill with 20 plus colorful balloons, as on-lookers enjoy a breakfast provided by Einstien Bros. Bagels. Admission is free, and you can have field access at 7:45am to get up close to see the balloons and their baskets which are much larger on the ground than they appear in the sky.

This year addition festivities will take place on Saturday night on Main Street between 7-9pm where there will be a “Candlestick on Main Street” balloons basket burn. Saturday evening's event will be located in Historic Park City on Main Street between 4th & 5th streets. Spectators are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy the many shops and restaurants in the Historic District.
