jupiter bowl at park city ski resort

The Park City Board of Realtors hosted a luncheon on November 8, 2018. Typically the highlight event of the luncheon series, this is the event to receive ski resort updates directly from the people who run the resorts.

Park City Resort

Park City resort is scheduled to open on Wednesday, November 21st, the day before Thanksgiving. At the Canyon side of the mountain, many complaints have revolved around the slow speed of the fixed chair for High Meadow – a popular beginner's area for that side of the resort. The other common complaint has been that the hillside for that run was comprised of a steeper slope for the beginning, and then just a bit too flat further down. Not the best ski run for learning. Park City is a community that loves to give. More than 100 non-profits benefited from Live PC Give PC, the mountain town’s annual day of 24 hours of giving that is facilitated by the Park City Community Foundation. Held on November 9, Live PC Give PC raised more than $2.4 million from 4,700 unique contributors in a single day. This was an absolute remarkable display of support for these non-profits who make Park City an incredible place to live. We are truly proud to call Summit County home. The day culminated in a high-energy party at High West Distillery where friends and neighbors gathered to celebrate local philanthropy. It was wonderful to see so many Park City Realtors joining the effort.

As evidenced at High West, Parkites love to make giving…

Rendering of Treasure Development in Park City Utah

The 2018 mid-term elections are over and although the national balance of power between the Republicans and Democrats was on the forefront of national news, in Park City the future of a large scale development was the talk of the town.

For nearly three decades there has been concern and uncertainty of a massive, large-scale development that would loom over Old Town and historic Main Street. Throughout the years, many of us doubted if the construction of this project was even financially feasible. With out-of-state developers recently coming into Park City and Deer Valley, equipped with deep pockets and strong financial backing, the possibility or even certainty of the land getting developed had become more of a reality.

On Tuesday, November 6th,…
