Park City Resort

Park City resort is scheduled to open on Wednesday, November 21st, the day before Thanksgiving. At the Canyon side of the mountain, many complaints have revolved around the slow speed of the fixed chair for High Meadow – a popular beginner's area for that side of the resort. Rendering of Treasure Development in Park City Utah

The 2018 mid-term elections are over and although the national balance of power between the Republicans and Democrats was on the forefront of national news, in Park City the future of a large scale development was the talk of the town.

Throughout the years, many of us doubted if the construction of this project was even financially feasible. With out-of-state developers recently coming into Park City and Deer Valley, equipped with deep pockets and strong financial backing, the possibility or even certainty of the land getting developed had become more of a reality.

On Tuesday, November 6th,

Looking for an easy and fun venue for the entire family? Park Silly is an open-air market and street festival all in one that features unique and eclectic-local and regional arts and crafts. There are also musical acts throughout the day on two separate stages. You'll find performance art, antiques, imports, and one-of-a-kind finds. And don't forget the delicious gourmet foods, and farmers market fruits and vegetables. And the best part of all is the full bar and beer garden at the bottom of Main Street, across from the main stage. We recommend the market's famous Bloody Marys and sit and enjoy some live music! HOW WILL YOU RISE

Park City is known for being home to many elite athletes, Maryquenn Vellinga being among them. Maryguenn knows boxing, she will willingly talk about her love for boxing anyplace, anytime. But rarely talks about her ranking within the USA Boxing Elite. Maryguenn is a fierce competitor and an equally fierce coach and fitness instructor. She has taught fitness and boxing here in Park City for several years and now after a lot of blood, sweat, and market research, she and her husband Luke are opening their own fitness boxing studio here in Park City. This week I had the honor of sitting ringside and talking with Maryguenn about her love of family, boxing, and Park City.
