Woodward Park City Nears Completion

Construction is wrapping up on the new outdoor and indoor sports haven, Woodward Park City, along the 1-80 entrance corridor into town. Given the number of professional athletes living in Park City, those who come here to train, and the local kids who grow up participating in a wide range of mountain sports, this is a highly anticipated complex. Excavations began last year and have been in full swing in preparation for the grand opening this ski season. The planning and building stages of Woodward have blossomed into a full-scale, massive adventure and action park that will draw families and athletes from near and far. The innovative environments provide an immersive space for fun all year round.
The new Woodwork Park City experience consists of four major components: Adventure Sports Hub, Mountain Park, Action Sports Hub, and the reimagined Tubing Park. Though a controversial development in its early stages, the project has escalated towards completion, with much excitement building as the opening approaches. The brand new outdoor and indoor campus will accommodate those from all different sports backgrounds, including skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and more. A new four-person lift will grant access to the expansive hillside of Gorgoza Park and will have countless adventure and training opportunities for both kids and adults.
The massive, indoor Adventure Sports Hub has drawn local and statewide attention for its incredible anticipated amenities. The 66,000 square-foot building will house a plethora of activities. Enjoy the indoor concrete skatepark that connects to an additional outdoor skate plaza. The tramps, tumble tracks, and full cheer and gymnastics floor are perfect for teams and individuals looking to sharpen their skills. Other attractions include a parkour facility, scooter park, ramps, and foam pit. You can even learn how to expertly shoot photos and videos of your friends and the pros with an onsite Digital Media lab.
