Simple, there is just so much to do, in great weather!

If you are new to Park City, here are a few ideas of events, festivals and fun things to do while in town. As locals, we get to enjoy outdoor recreation all year long, summer and winter. It's one of the main reasons why Outside Magazine readers voted Park City Utah as the "Best Place to Live in America". This page has a few ideas for you to try while in town. LIFT SERVICED HIKING AND MOUNTAIN BIKING

All three resorts now offer great options for lift-serviced mountain biking and hiking. You ride up the chairlift with your bike hanging on the next chair, and cruise on down through an assortment of trails.

DEER VALLEY
Lift-served mountain biking is offered from Silver Lake Express at the base, Sterling Express at mid mountain and Ruby Express at Empire Canyon. Many Deer Valley trails connect with the Park City network of singletrack, providing access to 400 miles of trails. And thanks to such an ambitious trail system, Park City was recently designated as the world's first and only Gold-Level Ride Center by the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA).

Deer Valley Resort will be open for summer operations from June 14 - September 2, 2013. Chairlift operations: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Last round-trip leaves at 4:30 p.m.

CANYONS RESORT
Join us this summer for great single track trails high in the mountains. Ride the gondola to 8,000 feet with your bike to access some of Park City's most popular trails including the famous Mid Mountain trail or Wasatch Crest trail! Canyons Resort has more than 20 miles of cross-country trails throughout the resort. New last summer Canyons Resort introduced and an all-new bike park located mid-mountain. The park includes a Skills Park and will include three different skill-level trails with a variety of features and be serviced by the High Meadow lift. The park also has several new flow and downhill trails for this summer. Information and lift tickets are available at Canyon Mountain Rentals in the Resort Village.

10:00am-5:00pm (open until 8:00pm on Wednesdays, through August 28th)
Daily through September 5, 2013.
Weekends (Thursday - Sunday) September 5, through October 6, 2013.

PARK CITY MOUNTAIN RESORT
Park City's abundant selection of hiking and mountain biking trails are great for all skill levels. And NEW this summer, we'll be running the Crescent Hi-Speed Quad which will get you to the top of Crescent Ridge in just minutes! We'll also be running Town Lift for scenic rides and hiking and biking and PayDay Lift will accommodate these services when Crescent Lift is not scheduled to operate. See their Operating Schedule for more details. Need help exploring the abundant selection of trails? A detailed trail map is available at the ticket windows (provided by Mountain Trails Foundation) for a $5 donation. Mountain bike rentals are available at a variety of shops in the Park City Mountain Resort base area and in town.

PARK SILLY SUNDAY MARKET



A great way to spend a lazy Sunday: The Park Silly Sunday Market is an ecofriendly open air market, street festival and community forum where neighbors and friends come together to celebrate our community of fun and funky Park Sillians. The market is open 10 am to 5 pm and runs every Sunday from June 9 to September 22 (except for August 4 due to the Kimball Arts Festival).

THE FREE DEER VALLEY CONCERT SERIES



The Grand Valley Bank Community Concert Series at Deer Valley
This free community concert series take place every Wednesday, June 20th - August 30th. Situated on the beautiful hillside of Deer Valley Resort, this series has become a favorite weekly ritual for the locals of Summit County and it's visitors. Bring your picnic basket & a blanket, some spirits to imbibe and get a boogie on with some of Utah's finest musicians.

Newpark Town Concerts
Newpark Amphitheater is located in the heart of Newpark Town Center and is surrounded by several restaurants, retail shops & the pristine Swaner Nature Preserve. These community concerts take place Thursday evenings, June 21 - August 30th, and feature national, regional and local touring acts in a beautiful forum environment. Bring a blanket, picnic, spirits to imbibe and get your groove on with friends and neighbors. 

Canyons Resort Concert Series
This free community concert series takes place every Saturday evening, July 14th - September 1st. Located on the hill above the ski beach at Canyons Resort, it's the perfect place to soak in a groove. This concert series features national recording acts and gives the community as well as visitors the opportunity to enjoy world-class artists and musicians at one of the premier resorts in North America.

Plaza Palooza at Silver Star
New to the local music scene, the Silver Star Plaza venue features cozy outdoor seating and a fun menu from the Silver Star Market. Free community concert for locals every Thursday (except July 4), from 6-9 p.m. on the Silver Star Plaza. All are welcome; family-friendly. Well-behaved dogs welcome. Bring your own blanket, chairs and picnic; order from our outdoor grill; pre-order a picnic basket; or make a reservation at Silver Star Cafe for table service and our regular dinner menu. Work up an appetite before the show by renting a beach cruiser from Silver Star Sport and exploring the neighborhood on two-wheels. The shop offers a "CRUISERPALOOZA" special - $16 for bike rental and food.

FLYING ACE ALL-STARS AERIAL SHOWS

A MUST SEE EVENT IN PARK CITY, UTAH!
If you are simply visiting, of if you are having a private party or event at the Utah Olympic Park, it will not be complete without seeing the world's top Olympic skiers, snowboarders, and acrobats in our one-of-a-kind electrifying performance! These daring athletes slide down a steep mountain-like incline at speeds up to 35 miles an hour, then launch up to 70 feet in the air before landing in the state of the art swimming pool below. But before landing, they take your breath away with amazing flips, twists, and turns, sometimes with as many as 12 athletes in the air at one time! In addition, our show can offer your guests the unique opportunity of meeting the athletes, having photos taken with them, and even taking home an autographed poster.

The action takes place at the Utah Olympic Park in Park City, Utah, a short and scenic 20 minute drive from Salt Lake City. This Olympic training facility nestled in the Wasatch Mountains is fast gaining international attention as one of the most impressive training facilities and competition sites in the world. This extraordinary high-energy production showcases these athletes and their abilities and maneuvers that have earned them worldwide recognition in their sports.
