The MARC in Park Meadows

The PC MARC (Park City Municipal Athletic & Recreation Center) is well known and very popular among Park City locals and seasonal visitors. The newly updated MARC building is found on Little Kate road in the neighborhood of Park Meadows. The spacious building and grounds feature 11 tennis courts, 4 pickle ball courts, a basketball gym, a bouldering wall where you can transverse nearly 50 linear feet and upwards of 12 feet. There is also an indoor track, which is great for those winter months we are so famous for here in Park City. Also inside are 3 group fitness studios where you can take any of the many offered classes such as Bare, Yoga, and several different cross training programs. The MARC also has a great free weight area and plenty of cardio equipment, including plenty of stationary bikes for those keeping up on their cycle training in the winter months. The MARC features two outdoor pools that are open spring through late summer. The Leisure Pool is a family friendly pool that ranges in depth from 1 to 6 feet and includes a waterslide, water play feature, and lazy river. The Lap Pool is a six lane, 25 yard pool used for open lap swim, master's swim, and lessons for all ages. One of the best features about the MARC is their onsite childcare, which takes children ages 1-6 for only $4 per child/per hour up to 4 hours maximum. So while the kids are enjoying the spacious and bright playroom which features its own bouldering wall, and child sized bathrooms , you are free to enjoy one of the many amenities the MARC offers. The MARC offers a wide variety of clinics and classes for all ages and abilities .They truly offer something for everyone, even our furry counterparts can take part in dog obedience classes offered at the MARC, where you can take either puppy or basic training classes.

In a community where recreation and fitness are top priorities for most "Parkites" and those visiting Park City, the MARC keeps current with the types of classes and clinics they offer. The wide variety of classes offered at the MARC for adults can seem endless. There are the usual fitness classes such as Yoga, Pilates, Spinning classes, Tennis and adult Karate. And new to the schedule is a Intro to Ballet class, and a Prenatal Yoga class for expectant moms to be. Also available through out the year are First Aide, CPR, and AED training courses. The MARC is best known for their many co-ed league sports like soccer, softball, volleyball, kickball, and basketball. Which are available through out the year to anyone 18 and older.

Possibly the most popular of all the MARC's program are the youth programs. Which will keep your kids busy through the entire year, including spring and winter breaks. They also feature a summer camp program for kids ages 6-12 years which is available daily as needed or you can book the whole summer. There are optional day camps like Art for kids, Golf, Skateboard, Swim, and Tennis lessons. And for older kids 9-14 years the MARC holds Adventure Camp, which offers challenging activities such as rock climbing, sailing, river rafting, archery, horse back riding, and many more activities that help your child make new friends while challenging them to work together to accomplish goals.

The MARC features a Lunch Time Learning social the second Wednesday of every month. Where local community experts speak and answer question on  topics like nutrition, family health, healthy sleep patterns, and more. There is also space you can rent for parties or business meetings. So you can throw a Birthday Party at the MARC where there are party packages available that include pizza and party decorations.
