Park City real estate in general is currently seeing a strong and healthy recovery. Sales activity is up for the 4th year in a row, and prices are moving back up as well. Of all the micro-markets of greater Park City, the community with the strongest gains is Park City's Old Town. Old Town has been a long time favorite location for both locals and for visitors. It's a highly unique area in that most properties are within an easy walk to popular historic Main Street and skiing at Park City Mountain Resort. As a much sought after community, we are now seeing a heightened level of activity as Old Town is being seen as one of the best places to own a home due to the year-round recreation it provides. We just received nearly 3 feet of snow in the last 2 days! It started out as rain which was quite upsetting for mid-March! I was at Silver Star at Park City the other day watching two families checking in for the week, and such long faces of sadness they had! I did tell them not to worry, that the rain would soon turn to snow and it would get really good, I was hoping I was correct.

I was. The rain we saw on saturday quickly turned to snow, and did not stop. Yesterday might have been good as well, but we waited until today to go up. It was amazing, probably the best day of the year. We have had a few other really great pow days, but this was quite good. Heather and I got up there right away at 9am, and did runs until about noon. We took a few on

We just had another small storm come through over the weekend, and received about a foot of snow in the upper elevations of the Park City ski resorts  I think the storm was a surprise to everyone as we were not expecting much more than an inch or two. As we got up late Sunday morning we looked outside and were surprised to see about 6 inches on the top of the hot tub. We even slowly got ready and once I finally was out to snowblow the driveway I started to realize it could actually be a good day on the mountain. We went up to Park City Mountain Resort and had a great day. The Snowbird snow report had mentioned only 5 inches, and Park City and Deer Valley reports mentioned less. I think much of the snow fell in the couple hours after the reports were made,

The snow has finally come, over 2 feet of it last night, and we had an amazing weekend of beautiful powder runs, with nobody here! Sundance is a great time to have the big storms come in as most of the Sundance crowd does not ski or snowboard. Its a great time for all of us Park City realtors to take a break from showing property and get some great runs in. Perfect that this Sundance weekend we got dumped on! There was well over 2 feet of fresh snow on McConkeys lift at Park City Mountain Resort, and I was there for first tracks. Once I headed down to go back to my Sotheby's real estate office, I passed the usual Silver Queen run to get down and found more great powder on the side of the groomed runs. For sure was an epic day, and so glad to see the snow

A VERY unique aspect of the Park City Ski Resorts is the fact that you can fly into the Salt Lake City International Airport in the morning, and be skiing the same day!

It's true, it's easy, and we are probably one of the only places in the country where that is the case. To prove our point, the Park City Chamber of Commerce has an amazing program to present to you.

The Park City Quick START (Ski Today and Ride Today) Vacation lets you convert your airline boarding pass into a same-day lift ticket to the Park City resort of your choice. It’s your chance to get a free same-day lift ticket at Canyons Resort, Park City Mountain Resort or Deer Valley Resort. You’ll discover the three world-class resorts and endless possibilities, not to mention the
