Will Our Dream Finally Come True?

For many of us in Park City, we have dreamed of the opportunity to ski and snowboard from Deer Valley to Park City to the Canyons. It would be amazing to have one ski pass to access all three of our resorts. Even if not connected, just the ability to have one shared pass and the choice of going to each of the resorts on any given day would be wonderful. We all have friends who each year make a choice of which single resort they will buy their season pass too. Often, we miss skiing with good friends because we have our pass at one resort, while they are at another. With the price of lift tickets, its rare to go buy a ticket at a ski resort for a day, when you already have a season pass at another.

Last year was the first in which Deer Valley, PCMR and Canyons all finished in the top 10 overall in the West and that feat is turning into a trend.

This year has a new No. 1: Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Jackson Hole has made a rapid ascent in the SKI rankings. Last year it was sixth. Before that, Jackson Hole had never

Great news for season pass holders at Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Resort. The two Park City resorts, along with Alta and Snowbird in Little Cottonwood Canyon have agreed to offer ski passes to visit each resort. This will be a "thank you" benefit to season pass holders this winter.

The four resorts have set their own requirements for the eligibility of their pass holders. For Park City Mountain Resort, all 2013-14 season passholders who add at least one "My Pass. My Way" features will receive 3 free 1-day lift tickets each at Alta, Deer Valley and Snowbird resorts during the 2013-14 winter season. Recommendations on a few top choices of trails in Park City Utah.

Its summertime in Park City and for those lucky enough to know, summer can be just as much fun (or more so) as our popular winter season. As we get through June, we typically see the mountain trails open up as the higher elevation snow finally melts away. For the past few weeks we have been mostly confined to the lower elevation trails for hiking and biking such as the very popular and easy Round Valley. Round Valley is a great choice for early and late season riding. It is at a lower elevation, and gets a lot of sun so the area dries out quickly and is one of the first locations to be ridable in spring.

Three Top Recommendations for Biking Trails

We just had another small storm come through over the weekend, and received about a foot of snow in the upper elevations of the Park City ski resorts  I think the storm was a surprise to everyone as we were not expecting much more than an inch or two. As we got up late Sunday morning we looked outside and were surprised to see about 6 inches on the top of the hot tub. We even slowly got ready and once I finally was out to snowblow the driveway I started to realize it could actually be a good day on the mountain. We went up to Park City Mountain Resort and had a great day. The Snowbird snow report had mentioned only 5 inches, and Park City and Deer Valley reports mentioned less. I think much of the snow fell in the couple hours after the reports were made,
