Great news for season pass holders at Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley Resort. The two Park City resorts, along with Alta and Snowbird in Little Cottonwood Canyon have agreed to offer ski passes to visit each resort. This will be a "thank you" benefit to season pass holders this winter.

The four resorts have set their own requirements for the eligibility of their pass holders. For Park City Mountain Resort, all 2013-14 season passholders who add at least one "My Pass. My Way" features will receive 3 free 1-day lift tickets each at Alta, Deer Valley and Snowbird resorts during the 2013-14 winter season. PCMR is located in the heart of Park City and includes 116 trails on 3,300 acres, spread over eight peaks and nine bowls. Season passes purchased up to September 15th will be $780 for an adult, or $880 starting September 16, 2013. Adding "Fast Tracks" will add $225 and will get you quicker access through lift lines and will qualify for the new program with Alta, Snowbird and Deer Valley. Blackout dates across the four resorts run during the holidays, Dec. 21-Jan. 5, and over Presidents Day weekend, Feb. 15-17.

Deer Valley Resort Season Pass holders qualifying for these privileges include those who purchase full winter Adult one and two, Senior, Super Senior, Military, Young Adult, Teen or Child passes. An Adult One season pass is priced at $1,910 up to October 31, and then moves up to $2,220. Deer Valley is consistently ranked #1 in guest service among ski resorts in North America, as rated by the readers of SKI Magazine, and delivers an unmatched experience for your winter vacation. Deer Valley pays attention to the finer details like no other resort, with groomed-to-perfection slopes, award-winning cuisine, on-site childcare and convenient lift, lodging and rental packages through their own lodging and reservations division.

This new offering by PCMR and Deer Valley is an attempt to compete with the new Epic Pass for Canyons Resort. Vail Resorts reached an agreement recently with Talisker Corporation to operate Canyons Resort. Vail Resorts added Canyons Resort to its very popular Epic Pass, which allows holders to ski at all Vail Resorts properties in Colorado and the Lake Tahoe region, and also offers privileges at resorts in Switzerland and Austria.
