Savor the Summit

It’s the social event that kicks off the summer season in Park City, Utah! Savor the Summit unites locals and foodies for the state’s largest outdoor dinner party on June 22 at 6:00 p.m. on Historic Main Street. More than 2,500 participants are expected to gather for this annual event to enjoy an al fresco dinner served by numerous restaurants in the middle of the street. Reservations can be made through individual restaurants that set their own multi-course menus and pricing. Some are sold out, so act fast!

There is plenty of fun and spectacular people watching to be had for those not seated at the grand table. Regardless of your level of participation, be sure to swing by the High West Spirit Garden at the intersection of Heber Avenue and Main Street. It’s open to the public and free of charge to enter and enjoy live music by Jake & the Heist and Changing Lanes. High West Distillery is the local pride of spirits, and their award-winning whiskies and vodka are now distributed internationally. VIP tickets are also available for $55 and include three assorted food items from Deer Valley Resort’s The Brass Tag restaurant and two drinks. Beverages served from the bar will include High West Whiskey, Red Rock beer, and selections from Vine Lore wines. This promises to be an entertaining way to enjoy Savor the Summit without the bigger commitment of a sit-down dinner. VIP Tickets for the Spirit Garden can be purchased here.

Those seeking the complete dining experience may select from a vast array of restaurants from more casual to finer dining. Approximately 20 dining establishments are participating with unique menus, including Handle, Tupelo, Wasatch Brew Pub, Café Terigo, and Park City Provisions by Riverhorse. When dinner concludes after sunset, many diners pack the local bars to continue the revelry at venues like No Name Saloon and The Spur Bar & Grill.

Savor the Summit promises to once again serve up an unforgettable dining experience set to the breathtaking backdrop of Historic Main Street, the surrounding mountain peaks, and a dramatic sunset. It’s a wonderful opportunity to run into your Park City friends and neighbors while celebrating the start of a glorious summer after a rather wet and gray spring. We’ll see you on the street!
