Talisker's New ENCORE Program

Never before have non-member Talisker property owners had an opportunity to join until now. With their new and temporary Encore program, Talisker Club is offering an exclusive but limited opportunity to join Talisker Club today. Most property owners in Tuhaye and Empire Pass are members of the exclusive Talisker Club, a "country club" offering both ski, golf and mountain lifestyle recreation in Park City, Utah. There are some owners in Tuhaye and Empire Pass that have not purchased memberships with their property acquisition. In the recent years, the Club has gone through receivership which has promoted reorganization and restructuring. During that time, re-sale properties in these neighborhoods saw the new buyers opting to not participate with the Club, as it was in financial and structural uncertainty. Now having emerged from receivership, both buyers and Realtors in Park City are showing a renewed interest in Talisker Club.

The Club has come a long way in the last ten years and is now finally placed financially on solid ground. The Club's ownership felt that it’s important to give the current Tuhaye and Empire Pass property owners an opportunity to join the best and most exclusive private club in the Park City community. Their Encore program will only be offered for a limited timeframe for this summer of 2017. This is a one-time chance for the remaining property owners in Tuhaye and Empire Pass that are currently non-members, to become members and enjoy what there neighbors have cherished for years. Once this opportunity passes, as we understand it, the non member properties, will never have the option to join in the future. They will forever be disconnected to the Club, which could have financial impacts on those property resales in the years to come.

The Club has undergone some changes in structure, and they have been busy working on updates and upgrades to the facilities. Here are some of the highlights that have recently taken place at Talisker Club:

• Empire Pass and Tuhaye are inseparably joined forever which means members not only enjoy world class golf but ski-in/ski-out access at the Tower Club at Deer Valley ski resort.

• The new court approved membership plan has been overwhelmingly received by our current membership with 98% of members signing onto the new membership plan.

• Talisker Club is debt-free thanks to significant capital investment by the new ownership.

• There is now a clear plan for the Club to become a member-owned equity club.

• The Club is already at a cash break even with 400 plus members.

• The Tuhaye Clubhouse has been completed and is a stunning gathering place for the members.

• The ski-in/ski-out Tower Club will undergo expansion this summer 2017, adding 40 additional dining seats, new expanded patio, furnishing and facilities improvements plus ski & boot storage and state-of-the-art ski tuning.

• All new golf carts and golf course equipment were purchased along with 5 new vehicles to add to their fleet and many other ongoing capital improvements are being made.

• A stronger club has enhanced real estate values for everyone in these communities and the real estate market is already responding!

Recently, the Club has had an influx of new members and the membership has climbed to over 400 members and growing. Local realtors have indicated that there has been a surge of interest in Talisker designated properties largely due to renewed confidence in Talisker Club. With their recent advertising campaign in the Park Record and networking with the local realtor community, buyers are once again looking at and buying real estate at Tuhaye. It has also fortified property resales at Talisker designated communities.
