Park City Fitness Facilities

Summit County has a well-earned reputation for being one of the healthiest places in the United States. Whether it’s indoor or outdoor recreation, Park City residents are obsessed with staying active and fit. Thankfully, there are an impressive array of fitness facilities throughout the area to feed this fitness addiction. From boutique gyms to yoga studios to fully loaded recreation centers, there is a place to cater every workout whim. Now that we’ve received the first snowfall of the season, it’s time for some ski conditioning! Ski season starts in about two months. If you’re looking for a fun and challenging indoor workout, here are some incredible options to check out.

Boom Cycle Room

There’s no better way to get energized and burn serious calories than with a spin class. Boom is Park City’s only dedicated spin studio. If you like to sweat to loud, pulsating music in a fun, group atmosphere, this is for you! Classes are offered seven days a week, and times vary at the Newpark location. boomcycleroom.com

The Beau Collective

Fusing social interaction and fitness, The Beau Collective offers high intensity interval training (HIIT) classes. Coached sessions are offered in 12 week blocks at their barn on Highway 224. thebeaucollective.com

Pure Barre

These 45-minute, total body workouts focus on those smaller muscles that often get neglected. Low impact, isometric movements make use of the Barre and other light equipment that ultimately has participants focusing on all body parts. The studio is located at Kimball Junction. purebarre.com

PC MARC

The Park City Municipal Athletic Recreation Center (PC MARC) is centrally located in Park Meadows. The remarkably varied and expansive facility has been named Park City’s best fitness center for multiple, consecutive years by the Park Record newspaper reader’s poll. The facility offers indoor and outdoor tennis, pickleball, lap and recreation pools, basketball gym, an indoor running track, weights and cardio equipment. They also have a jam-packed group fitness class schedule that includes boot camp, spin, barre, kickboxing, TRX, yoga, Pilates, Zumba, and step. parkcityrecreation.org

Basin Recreation Fieldhouse

A similar-style recreation center to the PC MARC, the Fieldhouse is located in the Newpark section of Kimball Junction, a convenience for those living in the Snyderville Basin area. The 87,000 square-foot center offers aquatics, batting cages, indoor turf, lap pool, indoor track, and a spacious gym with cardio and weight equipment. A wide variety of group fitness classes are offered from Silver Sneakers to spin to Zumba to yoga. basinrecreation.org/the-fieldhouse

Orange Theory

The fitness franchise located at Redstone maintains its cult-like following with HIIT-style classes and pumping music. Participants wear heart rate monitors to track their workouts, and they swear by their incredible results. It’s a fun, orange-colored atmosphere with an efficient workout experience that combines strength and cardio. parkcity.org/departments/park-city-marc-recreation

Yoga

There are about as many yoga studios throughout Park City as there are styles of yoga. Among the most popular are Tadasana for hot yoga, The Shop in Old Town offering a variety of practice styles, and Park City Yoga Studio. Namaste!
