Club 1981

It’s hard to believe that Deer Valley Resort made its debut almost 40 years ago in 1981 with only five chairlifts and 30 trails. With the local mining industry in decline and the Snow Park development on the rise, the Royal Street Land Company acquired the property for the new resort and began plans to create a park to accommodate 12,000 skiers. Since then, Deer Valley has blossomed into an internationally recognized ski destination with a reputation for offering a higher end, “country club-style” ski experience. Under new ownership of Alterra Mountain Company, Deer Valley is striving to elevate its level of luxury by introducing an exclusive ski club experience: Club 1981. This new offering could prove to be a compelling product for more discerning,
