Park City has long been dubbed “Bark City” due to our dog-centric lifestyle. And we don’t limit our dog-obsessed culture to mountain biking and hiking with our dogs. We dine with them whenever possible during our gorgeous summer months. Throughout Park City, there are an array of outdoor dining patios at various restaurants that welcome Fido. So whether you live in this amazing mountain town or are just visiting with your furbaby, here are four of our favorite options to consider.

Deer Valley Grocery Cafe
Its expansive patio overlooking the Deer Valley ponds at Snow Park, gourmet fare, and ample parking make Deer Valley Grocery Cafe a casual hot spot for breakfast, lunch, and early dinner. Dogs have plenty of space to relax by their owners’ tables. Pet-specific offerings include dog treats for $.25 and water bowls to keep our furry friends hydrated. Fuel up for an active day with breakfast options like the Lox Plate and a variety of paninis, wraps, and quiche. The lunch/early supper menu features various fresh panini sandwiches, salads, and the must-have gazpacho. Cool off with a refreshing cocktail, many of which are made with local spirits like a Mimosa with Alpine Distilling’s Preserve Liquor and the BLT Mary with Salt City vodka. Be sure to let the dog take a dip in the ponds after lunch because he’ll be eyeing the water the entire time!

Lespri Prime Steak Sushi Bar
Indulge in high-quality USDA Prime Certified beef and market fresh sushi at this hidden gem in Prospector that serves dinner Tuesday thru Sunday evenings. The chic patio will appeal to even the most discerning of dogs and their foodie owners. The restaurant serves a variety of specialty sushi rolls like the summery Bahama Mamma with crunchy shrimp, mango, avocado, and cucumber. Carnivores will savor the elk loin, osso bucco, New York Strip, and 16-ounce ribeye. Don’t forget your doggie bag!

J&G Grill at St. Regis Deer Valley
Yes, you can ride the funicular with your furry friend up to the J&G Grill Restaurant and Bar! We love relaxing, summer Sundays on one of the best patios in town with views of Deer Valley’s famed ski slopes and hiking and biking trails. If you are out for a hike or ride at Deer Valley, you can meander down the trails and stop at the St. Regis for a snack or drink with your pampered pet. J&G Grill has some of the most talented bartenders around - enjoy their signature, craft cocktails and world-famous Bloody Mary with wasabi cream. The truffle pizza is also a menu staple, and the mussels and fries are fantastic as well.

Good Karma
Park City’s only Indian/Persian American restaurant has something for everyone, including a peaceful patio retreat behind the restaurant where water bowls are provided for dogs. Good Karma’s Executive Chef-Owner Houman Gohary was featured on Rachel Ray’s Food Network show, “Rachel’s Vacation,” in addition to having made multiple appearances on NBC’s Today Show and Discovery Channel. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and it’s a favorite for a relaxing, reasonably priced weekend brunch with unique and delicious offerings. The smoked salmon and cream cheese omelet is fab!
