Thanksgiving is only weeks away, and most of us will be lucky enough to be spending the holiday's with our loved ones enjoying the delicious foods that come with the holiday's. But not everyone is as fortunate.
In the state of Utah, 1 in 7 children go to bed hungry every night. Last year the Park City Board of Realtors, with the help of the community, provided 2,300 turkeys to those in need – this year the goal is 2,500.
Park City's food pantry on Munchkin Road provides food to 60 Park City families per day. They provide items such as canned goods, dried foods, as well as bakery products, milk and produce. This year the food pantry has a list of 850 families in need of a Thanksgiving bird. Help the Park City Board of Realtors give hunger the bird, and DONATE!!
You can donate online, Facebook, or bring food items to The Market on November 16 and 17th.
