POWDER MOUNTAIN RESORT
Locals have always considered Powder Mountain as their private powder stash, but the secret has been leaked out. The 2007 SKI Magazine Reader Survey rated Powder Mountain as the #1 resort for both snow and for value! Powderhounds can rest assured they can still find plenty of freshies. With 5,500 skiable acres Powder Mountain's size rivals any resort in the US. And, as the only resort in Utah with 100% natural snow, you can always expect light, dry, airy conditions. Mother Nature not only delivers great powder, but real snow produces beautifully groomed corduroy.

Although PowMow's reputation is for untouched powder, the 2,800 acres served by lifts have an abundance of beginner, intermediate and advanced runs that are groomed nightly. The young at heart can select from two terrain parks including one that is open until the resort closes at 10:00pm.

Of course, those wanting to test out their fat skis and powder boards will want to explore the 1,200 acres of powder country and take the shuttle back to the lifts. Or, ride in the heated cabin of the snowcat to Lightning Ridge's trees, chutes and bowls. For extreme adventure, try out the heliskiing.

A new high speed quad at Hidden Lake is expected to shorten the lift ride by half giving guests more time on the slopes.
