Choosing Real Estate in Park City Utah
Park City is quickly becoming one of the most sought after towns to own ski vacation property. And likewise, many more people are moving to Park City full time, as it is such an amazing place to call home. With convenient access to the Salt Lake City International Airport only 35 minutes away, you can fly to Utah in the morning, and be skiing in Park City that same afternoon. Old Town is Park City's "downtown" community and is a long time favorite location for both residents and guests. This is home to Park City's Historic District and popular Historic Main Street which offers shopping, dining and nightlife. Park City Mountain Resort's Town Lift takes skiers up directly from Main Street and its nearby condos and homes. Many other Old Town condos and townhomes are located on the Park City golf course and homes in Thaynes Canyon also enjoy golf course views and setting. The Aerie is a community close to Main Street and offers some of the best views found in Park City. Park Meadows is the most sought after residential neighborhood. It combines a convenient location with stunning views. Park Meadows offers a wide range in condos, townhomes, and custom built single family homes. Prospector is a more affordable neighborhood and is close to the public schools and backs to the Rail Trail for hiking and biking.

Deer Valley is well known worldwide for oustanding skiing and wonderful dining, accomodations and service. The best way to enjoy Deer Valley is to own your own home or condo on their slopes. Deer Valley residential neighborhoods offer a wide selection of luxury custom homes. Lower Deer Valley homes typically enjoy nice views looking back at the ski resort. Deer Crest is a private gated community of luxury ski-in, ski-out homes that boast stunning views. The St. Regis is also located within the gates of Deer Crest. Upper Deer Valley offers a mix of both homes and condos that enjoy direct ski access and expansive views. Silver Lake Village in Upper Deer Valley is the heart of the resort and is the main location for much of Deer Valley's dining options including Glitretind at Stein Eriksen Lodge. This is also home to many of the most popular choices for vacation condos. Empire Pass is the newest phase of Deer Valley and is home to many new ski-in, ski-out homes and condos. The Paintbrush homes and Arrowleaf condos sit near the Tower Club and the new Montage at Deer Valley is located slopeside just before the private gated community of Red Cloud.
Choosing Real Estate at Canyons Resort® in Park City
There have been big changes and upgrades occurring at the Canyons Ski Resort, making the resort better and better each year. In fact, the readers of SKI Magazine rated the resort as #10 on their Top Ten resorts in North America. The Canyons is a world-class ski resort in winter, and offers many recreational activities in the summer. At the Canyons you can find many great vacation condos for sale, many of which have direct ski access. The Hyatt Escala Lodges and the Sundial Lodge both enjoy a ski-in, ski-out location in the heart of the alpine village. For luxury ski homes, nothing compares to The Colony. The Colony at White Pine Canyon is a private, gated 4,600 acre community of custom designed ski-in, ski-out estates to the Canyons Resort. Lot sizes in The Colony average at about 7 acres in size - the largest ski-in, ski-out properties in North America. Many of these stunning homes also enjoy expansive mountain views. It has been a while now, but one of our home listings in The Colony was featured on cncbc.com as one of America's Most Impressive Ski Homes. The Colony is for sure one of our favorite neighborhoods and we often showcase our favorite neighborhoods as featured searches on our blog.
Search Park City's Neighboring Communities:
Park City's neighboring communities include the larger Heber/Daniels and Midway/Charleston areas, the agriculturally-rich towns of Kamas, Francis, Woodland, Oakley, Peoa, Coalville, Wanship and Hoytsville, and the subdivisions located around the Jordanelle Reservoir. Heber and Midway are the most developed of these communities while the smaller towns present residents an opportunity for a more rural lifestyle. Although all of these neighboring communities are located outside of city limits, they certainly remain close to Park City's recreational opportunities. The three Park City ski resorts are 15-20 minutes away, and Sundance Resort, located near Mt. Timpanogos, is less than an hour down the road. Local trails abound, much to the enjoyment of hikers, horseback riders, mountain bikers and runners. The nearby Uinta mountains feature fantastic backpacking, camping and fishing. There are also numerous golf courses in these various communities.
