Opening weekend of Summer

Summer is here! The temperatures are perfect for outside activities, and May 25th is Opening Day for Vail's Summer Operations!! With two villages to choose from and several activities at both villages, you are sure to find something for everyone. We have provided a list of both Park City Mountain Village and Canyons Village activities so you can get out and Enjoy Park City this summer.

PARK CITY MOUNTAIN VILLAGE

The Adventure Zone is a fun and exciting summer activity for kids. These activities allow your child to engage in physical adventures and feel a sense of accomplishment. The Adventure Zone Includes:

• LEGACY LAUNCHER -  With the Legacy Launcher's four trampolines it's easy to bounce, flip and fly. Don't worry Mom, each trampoline is equipped with a safety harness. Try out your tricks here, then put them to use next winter in Park City Mountain's top-ranked terrain parks and superpipe. BOULDERS Experience the rocky terrain of Southern Utah right here at Park City Mountain Resort! Scale these boulders and conquer the highest peak, an exciting adventure for little mountain climbers.
• CLIMBING WALL -  Don't look down until you reach the top! This is the chance to test your big wall climbing skills (in a safety climbing harness) while being assisted by trained Climbing Wall attendants. Participants must weigh between 45 - 250 lbs. With five different routes to choose from, you could spend all afternoon conquering this mountain.
• GEM PANNING -  Park City's rich mining history to life within the Park City base area. Pan for gems in this interactive flume and keep what you find!
• KIDS' ROPE COURSE -  Our Kids' Rope Course serves up kid-size challenges for our younger guests.

KIDS' TUBING -  Our Kids' Tubing activity brings winter adventure to summer without the need for snow! KIDS' ZIP Our kids’ zip line lets your little adventurer get the thrill of a zip line, but on a scale of their own. * Kids' Adventure Zone activities are limited to children 30 - 100lbs, and approximately 2 - 11 years old.

ALPINE COASTER - Thrill seekers, meet your match on Utah's largest Alpine Coaster. The elevated track winds you through more than a mile of loops, curves, and hairpin turns at speeds up to 30 mph. Just like your favorite roller coaster - but with the refreshing mountain scenery of Park City.

ALPINE SLIDE - Park City Mountain's Alpine Slide is one of the longest slides in the world, with over 3,000 feet of gliding and sliding down a luge-like track. With three tracks to choose from, you can experience a different ride each time! We'll see you at the finish.

MINI GOLF - Tucked away in the Park City Mountain Village hosts 18-hole miniature golf course which is fun for everyone in the family. Surrounded by mountain views, it is the perfect place to improve your short game. Grab your putter and treat the family to a round! You must begin this activity 45 minutes prior to scheduled closing. 

MOUNTAIN BIKING - With over 20 miles of cross-country trails throughout the resort, bikers of all levels can access trails from atop the Red Pine Gondola. Once at the top, you can take trails such as Holly’s, Ambush, Colin’s, or Rosebud’s Heaven as you ride downhill back to Canyons Village or continue your adventure on Mid Mountain Trail over to Park City Mountain Village.

ZIP LINE - Ever wished you could fly? Soar above the treetops as our Zip Lines propel you 110 feet above Park City Mountain's ski trails at speeds up to 45 miles per hour.

ZIP LINE TOURS - Take a ride on the Flying Eagle, a zip line that takes your Park City experience to new heights. This two-person ride is open all winter too! Kids and adults must be 42" tall, but no weight minimum. And it starts and ends at the same location, so you can ride again and again and again.

CANYONS VILLAGE

CANYONS GOLF - Welcome to Utah's newest course located in Park City. Canyons Golf is scheduled to open on May 25, 2018. Summer 2018 Season Passes are on sale now.

PUTTING GREEN - This mountain-themed 18-hole family putting course located in Canyons Village, is sure to entertain the entire family. Top-of-the-line Ping putters are available for rent.

RED PINE GONDOLA - Capture panoramic views of the Wasatch Mountains, Park City Mountain and Park City the town as the Red Pine Gondola speeds you to your alpine summer adventure at 8,000 feet. Mountain bikes are welcome with a bike haul pass, however, dogs are not permitted.

ZIPLINING TOUR - Experience the thrill of soaring high above the ground on our mid-mountain Zip Tour. The Red Pine Zip Line will take you on an 800-foot long tree top ride through the Red Pine Lodge area. The Lookout Zip Line flies you across the canyon between Lookout Peak and Red Pine Lodge spanning over 2,111 feet. Our Zip Tours are fully guided tours and can take from 1 hour (Red Pine Zip Tour) to 1.5 hours (Epic Zip Tour) long.
