Park City's Park Silly Sunday Market on Main Street

GET SILLY IN PARK CITY

It's that "Silly" time of year! Vendors and Sillians from all over will gather this Sunday on Historic Main Street in Park City to open Season 12 of the Park Silly Sunday Market. And it looks to be the perfect day for the Season 12 opener, temperatures will be in the high 70's, with sunny skies all day.

Park Silly is an open-air market and street festival all in one. It is a true treasure box that features unique and eclectic-local and regional arts and crafts. There are also musical acts throughout the day on two separate stages. Also worth mentioning is the performance art, antiques, imports and one-of-a-kind finds. And don't forget the delicious gourmet foods, and farmers market fruits and vegetables. And the best part of all is the full bar at the bottom across from the main stage. Where you can get one or two of the markets famous Bloody Marys and sit and enjoy some live music! This is an event that is truly unique as our town.

The Park Silly Sunday Market takes place on the lower portion of historic Main Street every Sunday from 10 am - 5 pm in June and July. This year there will be a short three week break in August, while other famous Park City events take place on Main Street. On August 26th, Park Silly will return and will run until September 23rd.

A few helpful tips are, bring cash and a canvas bag to carry your treasures home in. Bring sunscreen and a refillable water bottle, there are several free water stations inside the market. Dress in layers this is Park City, you never know what the weather is going to do!

As for getting there, the easiest ways are to walk or ride your bike. There is a free bike valet at the market. For those driving in, the best plan is to park and ride the free bus to Main Street. The season of Silly is here! Get out and Enjoy!
