4th of july parade in park city utah

We invite you to celebrate the 4th of July with Summit Sotheby's International Realty!

The 4th of July Parade on Park City's historic Main Street is one of the premier events of the year. This year, on Wednesday, July 4th, plan to stop by to say Hi at our Sotheby's Main Street office located at 625 Main Street. We invite your family to be our guests and celebrate the 4th of July with us. Our doors will open at 10 AM, with the Parade starting at 11 AM. We highly recommend getting to Main Street extra early to reserve a space for seating, and it fills up quickly along Main Street. Bring a blanket, pop-up chairs, etc. You can even bring a cooler for drinks and snacks, although we'll have light breakfast, coffee and beverages served.

After the Parade

Once the parade ends, there is still lots to do at Park City's City Park. Enjoy kids' activities, rugby games, volleyball tournament, live music and refreshments at City Park. Be sure to head over to the Park City Mountain Base area for complimentary and family-friendly village activities in the Park City Mountain Village, including live music by DJ Velvet. There will also be a mountain BBQ. Live music features Memphis McCool at 5PM and The Soulistics at 7:30PM. Fireworks will be at dusk.

Local's Tips

As a seasoned local, we have a few helpful tips. First, be sure to get out the door early. Traffic up to Main Street is quite busy, and it does not make much sense to drive. The best option is biking up, which also makes it easy to bike down at the end of the day. Plan for a long day - Bring food, water, drinks, sunscreen. The parade is only the beginning of the day, and you may find yourself out in the hot sun all day, so be sure to plan accordingly. The celebration at City Park is like a giant neighborhood block party; it's a great way to meet many of your fellow Parkites. For the Parade, you'll want to get there early to reserve a spot by setting up a blanket and chairs. The pancake breakfast in City Park is a great way to start the day. Be cautious of your amount of time in the sun; the rays add up fast in the mountain elevation, you'll be fried before you know it! Pace yourself, and don't burn out before the day's end. It can be a fun, but long day if you want to make it to the fireworks at dusk.
