A quick note on Short Sales and Foreclosures. The list below may include them, but the Short Sales and Foreclosure properties in the Park City area are not always the best properties to be looking at. Most of those distressed properties are simply that - distressed properties. For some reason, whether location, poor condition, over built for location, over leveraged financing, etc., they failed to sell, and are now in trouble usually because nobody wanted them at market value in our de-valued market, and probably nobody will want them at market value in a good market down the road. So dont focus only on Short Sales and Foreclosures, there are many great deals to find, that may be better properties, may be better long term investments, and no headache of dealing with the banks.
